Keeping the Promise: Meet John Flores
"A Republic We Will Keep" was more than a motto when we coined the phrase a couple of years ago.
It was a promise we meant to keep.
And with John Flores joining the Compact for America team as our new Executive Vice President of Development, we're confident the promise will be kept.
John brings a unique track record of fundraising success at the scale we need for the coming year - during which we plan to advance our educational efforts through at least 30 states and Washington, DC.
John has a proven track record of success. He has raised $20 million in the non-profit, political, and private sectors, while serving as the Chief Development Officer or Managing Director for numerous organizations, including the Faith and Freedom Coalition, The 410 Bridge, various private equity firms, and other affiliated organizations.
Throughout his career, Flores has met or exceeded every fundraising benchmark set before him. Equally important, John has built equity and has a solid rapport with a high percentage of the most influential donors in America today.
John has a powerful ability to communicate vision and values. He recognizes that the Balanced Budget Compact is the most powerful and plausible way to protect future generations from limitless and irresponsible federal governance - by imposing a firm constitutional limit on the federal government's credit card. John also understands the importance of creating an option for consenting communities to demonstrate that freedom and responsibility lead to flourishing through the Prosperity States Compact.
His work for Compact for America Educational Foundation is personal too.
Together with his wife, Aimee Flores, John has two daughters and one son. John's commitment to family means he is equally committed to leaving the country in a better condition than he found it.
