First Organizational Meeting of the Compact for a Balanced Budget Commission!
On January 13, 2015, the first organizational meeting took place of the first interstate agency ever formed to unite the states in advancing and ratifying a constitutional amendment using the Article V convention mode of proposing amendments. Among its first official acts, was appointing Compact for America Educational Foundation, Inc. to serve as the Compact Administrator! The infrastructure for growing the Compact for a Balanced Budget to include 36 more states is now complete! It is time for States to Unite and for Congress to follow their lead.
