Already Alaska, Georgia, Mississippi and North Dakota have joined the "Compact for a Balanced Budget." The Compact for a Balanced Budget Commission - a historic interstate agency, charged with the duty to check and balance Washington's dangerous fiscal policy - is moving forward with the plan. 19 congressmen from 12 states are moving forward with the necessary congressional resolution. As many as 15 states will be introducing the necessary legislation this year!
The Compact for a Balanced Budget allows just 34 more states and simple majorities of Congress to advance and ratify a powerful federal Balanced Budget Amendment.
