Remember when Senator Obama opposed lifting the federal debt limit in 2006 when it was a mere $8.6 trillion?
Imagine if Republican majorities in Congress and 38 states responded by adopting the Compact for a Balanced Budget.
Just imagine the bad policies that could have been avoided if the spigot of "free money" were turned off... share and like if you wish we had a time machine.
We can still stop the bleeding today.
Let's not look back 8 years from now and wish we had.
